How to Order with FREE Alterations

We believe in clothes that fit a person's style, mood, and body. After you've chosen an item and picked a fabric, you can add any alteration instructions in the box provided. This is completely free and optional. Share as much or as little information as you like - the more information we have, the better your clothing will fit.

Custom alterations include more than just adjusting hemlines. We can make your garment to your precise measurements; change the shape of a neckline; or the length of a sleeve. Include all of your requests in the text box on the product page and we will contact you if we need further information. All of our clothing is custom made, so your alterations will be made at no additional cost.

We are also able to mix and match pants or skirts from one set with a shirt from a different set. Please use the alterations box or simply drop us an email at order@tropicaltantrum.com and we can put together the set that is right for you.

Alterations, shipping, and returns are free because we want you to love your Tropical Tantrum clothes.

To get the most accurate measurements, stand straight with your feet a comfortable distance apart. Use a cloth tape measure for bust, waist and hips. Measure at the fullest point of both bust and hips and use your belly button as a guide for measuring the perfect spot at your waist. Send us your height so we can adjust your garment appropriately so it fits you as it appears on our model, or send us the length you would prefer.

Paying for Your Order

Tropical Tantrum accepts all major credit cards. We only charge sales tax when shipping to addresses in Hawaii.

After You Order

You will receive an email within a few minutes of placing your order. Your email confirmation will show the items you ordered, an order number for tracking, and other important information. If you do not receive this confirmation email within one hour of ordering, please contact us at order@tropicaltantrum.com.

You will receive a second email when your order is shipped.

Your credit card will only be authorized at the time you place your order. We will not charge your credit card until we ship your items. Please be aware that many banks have different rules for debit cards that we do not know in advance. Customers tell us that a bank will sometimes "reserve" the amount when a debit card is used although we do not request the funds until your order is shipped.

When Will Your Order Arrive?

Our free shipping option will take approximately 2-4 weeks to arrive. We have additional delivery options using either the US Express Mail (7-10 business days with a $40 charge) or expedited delivery straight from the factory (3-5 business days with a $50 charge).

IMPORTANT: Please email us at order@tropicaltantrum.com if you are participating in a tropical wedding or other special occasion. We promise to work with you to make sure your fabulous new clothes arrive on time.

How to Care for Your Clothing

We recommend that you hand wash Tropical Tantrum clothes in cold water, roll in a towel to remove excess water, line dry the item, and then lightly iron if desired.

You can also dry clean Tropical Tantrum clothing or machine wash in cold water on a gentle setting and then line dry. Please do not put your clothing in the dryer.

How to Return an Item

E-mail us at order@tropicaltantrum.com to let us know what happened. You don't need a reason to return your item, but we would love to hear any feedback if something doesn't turn out the way you expected.

We will send you a return authorization as quickly as possible. We'll start working on any new items you need while your original order is on the way back. Always email us and get an authorization before returning any items so we know to expect the delivery and can ensure that you don't pay any shipping costs.

If you return an item purchased using a credit card, we will credit the card used to purchase the item. We cannot post a credit to another credit card.

Privacy

Your financial information is safe because we use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process transactions. SSL encrypts information into a highly indecipherable code, which is immediately processed. You will know that are in a secure part of the website when you see the web address starting with "https" and/or an image of closed lock on your web browser.
